Face Masks Required Statewide in Alabama
On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, Governor Kay Ivey launched a statewide mask ordinance in Alabama. Individuals will be required to wear a mask or other facial covering when in public and in close contact with other people, as described in the order.
The ordinance will go into effect July 16th at 5:00 p.m. and will remain in place through July 31 at 5:00 p.m.
